Milí přátelé woodcrafteři! V tomto roce oslavíme dvacátý rok obnovené Ligy a připomeneme si 150 let od narození Černého Vlka - E. T. Setona. V rámci oslav si vás dovolujeme pozvat na následující akce:

Slavnostní sněm Ligy lesní moudrosti

Výstup na Mt. E. T. Seton na Šumavě
Jistě víte, že v roce 1990 byla z iniciativy Letícího Sokola (Ladislava Vodáka) a jeho sušického kmene LLM pokřtěna hora Křemelná, v centrální části Šumavy, na Mt. E. T.Seton. Zveme vás v rámci oslav 150. výročí narození Černého Vlka na slavnostní setkání na vrcholu Mt. E. T. Seton. Akce se bude konat dne 14. 8. 2010. Akce bude pečlivě organizována neboť se budeme pohybovat na území národního parku. Děkujeme za pochopení.

Dear fellow woodcrafters, this year we will commemorate 20-th anniversary of The Woodcraft League´s revival in our country and 150-th anniversary of Black Wolf-E.T.Seton´s birth. We would like to invite you to the following:

Big Ceremonial Council of the Woodcraft League
will be held on 5 July 2010 at the Woodcraft League campsite on Kosi potok, near Plana u Marianskych lazni. The council will be a part of the League´s summer camp. MORE INFORMATION BELOW

Hike to Mt. E. T.Seton in the Sumava mountains
In 1990, shortly after the revival of our woocraft organization, after the 42 years break coerced by the communist regime, the Kremelna mountain in the central Sumava mountains in the west of the Czech Republic, was nicknamed Mt.E.T.Seton. It was achieved under the initiative of Flying Falcon (Ladislav Vodak) and his woodcraft circle from the local town of Susice. We invite you to not a demanding hike up the mountain and a ceremony on the top, to commemorate 150 anniversary of E.T.Seton´s birth. The hike will be held on 14 August 2010.

The Legacy of Black Wolf
We invite you to a conference on the works and thoughts of Ernest Thompson Seton. It will be held on 17 November 2010 in Prague, in the Czech Republic. BIG CEREMONIAL COUNCIL OF THE WOODCRAFT LEAGUE – Detailed information

We are looking forward to celebrating beautiful 20th anniversary of The Woodcraft League revival and 150th anniversary of the birth of E. T. Seton.

The Big Ceremonial Council will be held on 5th July 2010 at the Woodcraft League campsite on Kosi potok, near Plana u Marianskych lazni. (See http://www.woodcraft.cz/images/2003/mapa_kosak/mapa_kosak_big.jpg)

What can you look forward to?

On Sunday 4th July 2010 evening, there will be a sweatlodge ceremony.

On Monday 5th July 2010, the Ceremonial Council day you can expect plentyful programme with traditional games and competitions including archery, fire friction, best woodcraft item, Seton´s Camp Fire Club of America competition and others. The ceremonial council starts at 5 p. m. and will be full of reminuscances on past 20 years beside awarding woodcraft coups and titles. After the Council ends, pow-wow with Indian songs and dances will be held.

What should you bring with?

Ceremonial woodcraft sash, lance or flag
Bows with arrows and tools for fire friction
Old chronicles or other suitable historical material for exhibition
Woodcraft items for competition or general exhibition
White ribbons with name of the tribe/organization (size 150x20 cm)

We would appreciate if you would like to contribute to the programme in any manner. Please let us know in advance.

Accomodation

We expect the tribes to house in their own tipis. Please let us know the number of tipis regarding number of tipi poles. A part of meadow will be reserved for camping tents. In case you will not have your own tipi or tent, we would be pleased to offer you housing in some of the suitable tipis or we can arrange other accomodation.

Parking

Parking will be possible on the access road circa 200 m from the campsite. Please let us know in advance of the number of vehicles. The number of parking lots is limited.

Těším se na Mt. Seton i na Konferenci na obojí také nabízím svoji pomoc!
